Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Shanmugapriya Tours & Travels, we understand that travel plans may change. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the applicable charges and procedures.

Cancellation by Customer

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.

The following cancellation charges may apply:

  • More than 30 days before departure: 10% of total package cost
  • 15–30 days before departure: 25% of total package cost
  • 7–14 days before departure: 50% of total package cost
  • Less than 7 days before departure: 100% of total package cost
  • No Show: 100% cancellation charges

Actual cancellation charges may vary depending on airline, hotel, cruise, visa, and supplier policies.

Non-Refundable Services

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Visa Fees
  • Travel Insurance
  • Flight Tickets (subject to airline rules)
  • Attraction Tickets already issued
  • Processing Fees
  • Service Charges

Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–21 business days.
  • Refunds will be credited through the original payment method whenever possible.
  • Bank charges, payment gateway fees, and currency conversion charges may be deducted.

Changes & Amendments

Any modification to a confirmed booking may incur additional charges depending on supplier policies and availability.

Cancellation Due to Force Majeure

Refunds for cancellations arising from natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, weather disruptions, strikes, or unforeseen events will be subject to supplier refund policies.

Company-Initiated Cancellation

If Shanmugapriya Tours & Travels cancels a package due to operational reasons, customers may be offered:

  • An alternative tour package, or
  • A refund as applicable.
